The product
The customer-facing product is a self-serve web app at app.helira.in. It turns an address and an electricity bill into an engineering-grade rooftop solar quote in minutes, and carries the customer from quote to booking to a certified installation — with the warranty owned by Helira throughout.
How does the customer journey work?
TODO[CEO]: annotated screenshots at 390×844 and 1440×900 land here before public launch (v2 §6.3). The eight steps below are the copy they annotate.
- 1
Address & roof
The customer enters their address; Helira fetches the satellite image and the customer confirms their roof outline. No site visit required to get a real estimate.
- 2
Electricity bill
The customer photographs their BESCOM bill. Helira reads the units, tariff and sanctioned load automatically, so the savings maths is anchored to the customer's actual consumption, not an average.
- 3
Shading
The customer adds rooftop photos; Helira classifies shading. A shadow-free roof is what qualifies a system for Helira Assured Generation later.
- 4
AI sizing
Helira recommends a system size from the roof, the bill and the shading — with a plain-language reason, and a transparent note where the recommendation exceeds the customer's sanctioned load.
- 5
Savings preview
A 25-year savings preview computed from the customer's own bill and confirmed roof — generation, monthly savings, payback year, and net lifetime benefit. Numbers, not adjectives.
- 6
Booking
The customer books with a small advance, shown on a single anchored line — "Booking: ₹X (Total system cost ₹Y)". The advance is a fraction of the gross system cost; the subsidy is communicated separately, never netted into this line.
- 7
KYC
Identity and property documents are collected after the booking and before financing — the sequence that lifts completion without asking a browsing visitor for their Aadhaar up front.
- 8
Assignment
The job is auto-assigned to a certified System Integrator within 60 seconds — surveyed, sized and scheduled — while Helira retains the warranty and the customer relationship.
Where does the installation happen?
Installation is carried out by a Helira-certified System Integrator. Your warranty and post-installation service are owned by Helira — one company answers for your system. Helira's field tooling captures a documented evidence chain on site — including the per-anchor waterproofing photos behind the Helira Roof Shield leak cover — so the warranty points at something real.
