Terms of Service

Helira is a brand and technology company. We prepare your solar quote, coordinate your installation, financing and BESCOM paperwork, and own your warranty and post-installation accountability. Your installation is carried out by a Helira-certified System Integrator who works to our standards. Helira is not itself the installer — but your contract, your warranty, and one point of accountability stay with Helira.

The quote we generate is an estimate based on the roof, bill and photos you provide plus our assumptions. It is indicative and is confirmed at the on-site survey before installation. Prices, subsidies and figures can change if your inputs change or on the ground the system needs to differ.

To reserve your installation you pay a booking advance of 2.5% of the total system cost. During booking we show you this in the form:

The booking advance is calculated on the total system cost, not on the amount after subsidy. Any PM Surya Ghar subsidy you are eligible for is credited directly to your bank account by the government after your system is commissioned, separately from what you pay us. Once your booking is paid, the price for the proposed system capacity is held even if the layout is later refined, so long as the capacity does not change.

You can cancel a booking any time before installation begins. If your equipment has not yet been dispatched, you receive a full refund of your booking advance; after dispatch, a deduction may apply for the costs committed to your order. If we cannot deliver your system — for example, BESCOM declines net-metering or your roof is found unsuitable — you receive a full refund with no deduction. Installation is delivered by a Helira-certified System Integrator to Helira’s quality standards. We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty on the installation, owned by Helira, in addition to the manufacturer’s product and performance warranties on the panels and inverter. If something goes wrong with the workmanship in that period, you raise it with Helira — one company answers for your system. You confirm that you are the owner-occupier of the property, that you are 18 years or older, and that the information and documents you provide are accurate. Net-metering and subsidy applications are filed in your name on the documents you approve.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
